Mission of the College of the United States

 - Create a college which, through its methods and content, promotes the core values of reason, individualism and freedom as protected by the rule of law.

- Grant the Baccalaureate degree, (and eventually) the Masters and Doctor of Philosophy degrees through an innovative curriculum based on the educational philosophy of Maria Montessori and the classics of Liberal Education. 

- Through rigorous training, help students develop superior thinking and reasoning skills, and the ability to identify the philosophical principles which underlie any set of ideas in order to advance their objective and independent individual judgment.

- Equip these students to be leaders with the tools to promote reason, achievement, happiness and freedom wherever they work and live, and in whatever they do.

- Follow the examples of successful small, liberal arts colleges with unusual aims and methods that produce exceptional and influential graduates. St. John’s College, Reed, Swarthmore, Haverford, Antioch and the Claremont Consortium Colleges are among a few with unusual programs and outstanding success.

Like the quintessentially influential Voltaire, who was educated by the Jesuits in logic and reasoning, the College of the United States will help to usher in a new age of Enlightenment and a Renaissance of culture.
